a detour

We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.
~Walt Disney

Sometimes being spontaneous and taking a detour like visiting the Twilight Eagle Sanctuary is a pretty great idea.  No eagles were spotted, but we did see great blue herons, cranes, and a fuzzy orange and black stripe caterpillar.

  2. Where I live in the Skagit Valley, we have oodles of eagles in the winter! They aren't really back quite yet though, I just saw the very first one of the season on Sunday.

  10. Such soothing scenery! If detours are like this, then who wants to be on the right direction?! Let the GPS rest a bit! :-)
