The Eskimo has 52 names for snow because it is important to them; there ought to be as many for love.
~Margaret Atwood
These photographs were taken early this morning to share with you a little of Seattle's snow. My land camera's focus is going wonky, but I still enjoy a good blur here and there.
They're truly beautiful. I feel sad that I've never seen snow. :'( Also very happy to see you use a land camera, I have one as well (the 420). My focus too is not perfect but I think that adds to the dreamy polaroid effect. <3 www.Magalic.com
great photos, and a lovely quote. have you ever heard of story people, by chance? the guy behind it wrote this a while back, and it reminded me of what you've posted.
“I read once that the ancient Egyptians had fifty words for sand & the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish I had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way you move against me while you sleep & there are no words for that.” ― Brian Andreas, Story People
